Finally, I talked to the pit bull people.

At about 10:00 am today I told Kelley that I wanted tot go get a name tag for Chuck and let start running the neighborhood again because we had not see the pitbulls in a while, except about a week ago I did see the mama outside with her doggie drinks hanging so I knew she had more puppies.

Anyway, the other dogs haven't been seen in about a month so I was thinking maybe the people had smartened up and gotten rid of them or at least put them in a safe place.

So, at a bout 3:00pm today my dogs in th backyard started going crazy. I looked out there and there were 2 of the pit bulls. I grabbed my rifle and shot a few times in the woods to scare them because they were not standing in a safe spot for me to shoot them. The 2 split up and I went into the woods chasing after them. They got away. I knew that they were probably heading home so I decided that I would go to their home too.

Up until now, I had not actually gone to the people because I did not want to lose my cool and have the dog situation escalate into something more. Well today I through that rule out the window. When I got to their house one of the pit bulls were standing in the driveway. I whipped the car into the driveway while laying on the horn. I was pissed!

Two dudes came out of the house and the older one said, "I'm going to catch the dog now." I started into the whole spill about how they need to do soemthing about his dogs and he said for me to shoot them next time because he has wanted to get rid of them ever since he came to town about 2 months ago. Turns out, this guy is the son of the woman who owns the dogs. She is elderly and ill and loves the dogs and blah blah blah. He told me that he has been trying to figure out a way to get rid of them without breaking her heart because she says that the dogs are all she has. He said, "What about me Mama? You got me."

Needless to say, I thought I took a wrong turn at soap opera alley. Long story short. He said shoot them myself. I said I don't want to but if I get a good safe shot at them I will. So, there you have it as James Road Turns.
